In this Soapbox, Nobi and I talk about Chapter 24 and the difficulty of recording torture scenes.  In addition, I talk about my trip to London and my poor performance at some of the local pubs, as well as my recent research trip to Norway.  I also outline some of new features to expect on the upcoming website and lay out what the Fan Contest will look like.  We drink some of my super uber-special homebrew beer which seems to scare Nobi.

The unlikely team of Whitt Roberts, Oberlin St. Clair and Mai Lee trek through the remote mountains of Tibet. Because of the vast landscape that lies ahead, The Blackdoor Group calls in some sinister support to complete their mysterious extraction mission. And back in Leviathan, Harlequinn and Bennu finally face off in a deadly showdown that has been brewing for centuries. And on a lighter note, Tulley discovers a dive bar in Leviathan.

Mai Lee and Oberlin St. Clair are on their way to the capital city of Lhasa with the mysterious briefcase they stole from the Blackdoor Group.  But Whitt Roberts has secretly boarded the train…and he wants his briefcase back.  At the same time, Seinshun and Nathaniel have landed in Tibet and are racing to find clues as to the whereabouts of Macallan Orsel.

Macallan wakes up in Leviathan and is invited by Evangeline to explore the city and meet some of its fascinating inhabitants. But their outing is cut short by news of a major security breech within the Leviathan computer mainframe. Evangeline realizes that she has been betrayed by someone very close to her… and there will be hell to pay.

Anton is dying.  Macallan must take desperate steps to save his life and decides to literally step into the unknown and descend down the Marianas Trench, the deepest point on Earth.  There, she discovers the entrance to Leviathan - the secret immortal city created over 1,000 years ago.  Inside she finally comes face-to-face with Evangeline and finally discovers what lies within the walls of Leviathan!

The story returns to Macallan, Tulley, Harlequinn & Anton racing to get to the Mariana Trench in a stolen submarine. Using the data they uncovered from Nankatsu Industries, they believe they have identified the last known location of the Hei Ten Shi. Somewhere in wreckage, they hope to find clues regarding the rogue Starstone which threatens the survival of the immortal race.

A young immortal named Nathaniel escapes from Leviathan with a deadly secret and is hunted through the streets of Amsterdam. He is racing to find safety within the Rebellion but a lethal assassin named Gravlar tries to kill him first. Meanwhile, back in Sutton Manor, Seinshun wrestles with the guilt of his decision to rebel and tries to find comfort with Ikoro. And back in Beijing, Mai Lee and Oberlin are running for their lives. She reveals to him how the Chinese lost the Starstone and the origins of Hei Ten Shi's secret mission.

Oberlin has escaped from the Idrasil and is on the run! But before he can get far, he is picked up by a beautiful secret agent who explains how the Chinese military first obtained a Starstone. But Whitt Roberts hasn’t finished with Oberlin yet and will stop at nothing to get him - and the briefcase he stole – back into the hands of the Blackdoor Group.

TMacallan, Tulley, Anton and Harlequinn escape from the Nankatsu Submersible Proving Grounds.  But their breakout may be short lived…And in another part of the world, Oberlin St. Clair finally awakes from a drug-induced stupor to finally confront the villain that has subdued him for weeks.  Will he find a way to break out of his prison as well??

In this episode, the rebel team of Macallan, Tulley, Harlequinn and Anton are trapped in the Nankatsu Advanced Materials Laboratory near Japan. They are seeking answers as to the connection between Nankatsu and The Blackdoor Group. But Macallan has been betrayed by Harlequinn and Tulley's injuries have left a trail of blood to be discovered by the scientists working in the facility. Guards are approaching and time is running out for the team to escape...

In this Chapter, the Rebel team of Macallan, Tulley, Anton and Harlequinn attempt to break into the secret Advanced Materials laboratory of Nankatsu Industries to discover the connection to the Blackdoor Group. The rogue Starstone continues to send out its deadly signal killing the immortals. But the answers to deactivating it lie hidden within Nankatsu.

A dark shadow has fallen over the Rebellion.  Othello has been killed and the Mumbai base is in disarray.  A single tooth filling from the Enforcer attack provides a clue to a secret laboratory near Japan.  Seinshun dispatches Macallan, Tulley, and Anton to London to recruit a mysterious immortal to assist in the infiltration mission.  But this immortal has a grudge against Anton and some ancient history will have to be unearthed.

Jason Sterling's secret weapon is finally unleashed and Operation Butterfly is launched.  Macallan and Tulley have to fight to stay alive.  Get ready for the most action packed episode yet!!!

In the conclusion of the flashback, Evangeline reaches the final confrontation with Kriegerson and his fervent congregation.  And the Aliens make Evangeline an offer that she can't refuse....

In this Episode, Evangeline struggles to heal the aliens, while discord in Somnertock grows around her.

Macallan, Tulley, Anton & Othello travel to the Indian city of Mumbai to meet with a mysterious figure to understand the origins of immortality on Earth.

Macallan activates the communications device secretly given to her by Anton and Othello.  They immediately rush to her aid and rescue her and Tulley from freezing to death in the Gulf of Alaska.  During the flight, Macallan examines the sarcophagus, which represents the supposed Key that the immortals have been searching for.  The sarcophagus opens to reveal a cavity inside into which Macallan climbs.  Once inside, she finds her body transformed as her recessed immortal genes become activated and she becomes a full-fledged member of Leviathan.  She becomes immortal!

But soon it becomes clear.  The sarcophagus was not the real "Key".  Macallan, being transformed into her full potential, was. And now with her genetic destiny fulfilled, she must learn to what higher purpose she is being called to answer.

Things are grim.  Oberlin awakes from a chemically induced fog to find himself tied down in an abandoned oil rig.  A strange voice begins interrogating and torturing him.  The person wants to know one thing: Where is Macallan Orsel?

When they regain consciousness Macallan and Tulley are badly injured by the sudden explosion on the Cedar Elm.  They find themselves trapped in a dead sub that is upside down wedged on a deep overhang in the ocean canyons.  The positioning of the sub makes using the emergency lift bags impossible, and not enough power remains to attempt other rescue protocols.  Macallan tries to rock the sub over on its side so that the lift bags might inflate.  She believes she is unsuccessful but then suddenly (and strangely) the sub does right itself sending Macallan and Tulley racing back to the surface.  But when they arrive, a deadly surprise awaits them.

Oberlin and Tulley jerry-rig a shaky connection of their diving equipment in attempting a recovery mission on the Cedar Elm, which lies deep in the Gulf of Alaska.  Oberlin warns them that their oxygen is limited and backup power is nonfunctional.  With hugs and thanks, Macallan and Tulley begin their descent to 10,000 feet under the ocean

Back in New York, Seinshun meets with Anton and Othello, who represent the Special Forces Unit of Leviathan.  Tension is high as Macallan has eluded them by deciding to drive to Alaska instead of fly.  Additionally, she has engaged the Hail Mary, not the treasure hunting operation Seinshun had ordered.  As such, her whereabouts are unknown to Seinshun and his team of immortals.  Seinshun hints that Macallan may have been bred for a specific purpose in mind.  But what?

In the meantime, Tulley and Macallan pass the time during their lengthy descent to reveal more about each other.  Macallan explains the bizarre circumstances that drove her to find his boat and what she knows about the Leviathan Group.  Tulley recalls how he met Oberlin and his secret dream of building the most advanced treasure hunting boat the world has ever seen.  Their conversation is interrupted by their arrival at the Cedar Elm. The shipwreck is enormous.  They search the boat exhaustedly for Macallan's mysterious Key.  Not knowing exactly what she is looking for, Macallan is attracted by a strange glow emanating from one of the front cargo holds.  They send the ROV to investigate and are amazed by what they see.  A strange sarcophagus is pulsing in green light.  But to make things more bizarre, the face of the sarcophagus is almost identical to Macallan's.  She thinks this must be the Key!  Macallan and Tulley use the ROV to grab the sarcophagus and pull away from the Cedar Elm.  But before they can get too far, time runs out!

After finding her boyfriend dead and being accused of murder, Macallan realizes she must escape New York City immediately. Not knowing who the real murderer might be, she decides she can only rely upon herself.  Disobeying Seinshun's instructions, Macallan chooses not to head to Anchorage, but rather the small Alaskan fishing town of Homer.  There, she meets Captain Jeffery Tulley and his First Mate Oberlin St. Clair, a pair of treasure hunters that are down on their luck.  They both possess knowledge of the shipwreck, Cedar Elm, that Seinshun said might contain the Key that Macallan has been sent to find.  Tulley and Oberlin are reluctant to return to the Cedar Elm because its remote location and because it has been slated for demolition by the US Navy.  Suddenly, an assassination team pulls up and launches on assault on Tulley's boat.  It is unclear if the target is Macallan or Tulley, as he has incurred significant debt with the Japanese Yakuza.  Tulley, Macallan and Oberlin escape on their boat, Hail Mary, and head out to sea in the face of a monster storm.

Shortly thereafter, Jason Sterling contacts Kasunori Tanaka to berate him over the botched attack on the Hail Mary.  He reminds Tanaka that he owes much of his corporate success and wealth to the clandestine operations conducted by the Blackdoor Group.  As a result of his failure, Sterling kidnaps Tanaka's only son, Toshi.  His return will be dependant upon Tanaka completing another murderous mission for Blackdoor and currying favor with Jason Sterling.

After battling the storm for twenty-four hours, the Hail Mary stumbles upon the Cedar Elm.  Strangely, the shipwreck is located 500 hundred miles from its last reported location.  Additionally, the Hail Mary's search and recovery equipment was badly damaged in the attack.  However, after much deliberation, Tulley and Oberlin agree to help Macallan and launch a recovery mission on the Cedar Elm.

Whitt Roberts posing as a psychiatrist treating her grandmother, Amelia Orsel.  She is suspicious of him, but he finally wins her trust when he provides some insight into her grandmother's mysterious affliction.  Whitt explains that they need to obtain a blood sample from Macallan's grandmother as soon as possible because her time could be running out.  But before Whitt and Macallan can make it to Amelia's apartment, their car is violently T-boned by Anton and Othello who grab Macallan and throw her into their car and speed off.  In the getaway car, Othello grills Macallan about her interaction with Whitt Roberts.  He also takes a sample of Macallan's blood.

The three of them arrive at Sutton Manor, an enormous complex of almost 20 townhouses on the outside, but a single compound on the inside.  A woman named Ikoro analyzes Macallan and her blood before she meets the leader of the compound named Seinshun.  He explains that she is very special and that he has known of her for her entire life.  He explains that he is her great-great-great grandfather and is over 400 years old.  Macallan is highly skeptical but agrees to listen to what Seinshun has to say.  He explains that the immortals are dying from an unknown illness.  Macallan needs to find the Key that can save them.  Seinshun informs Macallan that she must travel to Anchorage, Alaska to engage in a treasure hunting operation to search a shipwreck called the Cedar Elm.  He gives her $5,000,000 to assist her in her journey.
