does anyone know where to find pics of the voice actors? I have this mental picture of the narrator and I'd like to know if she is as hot in "real life"!

I once spoke on a near daily basis with a lady who I purchased materials from for my employer. Her name was Marge and she had a honey sweet voice with a slight british accent. She was quick witted and funny as hell to talk to. A real treat to my boring work a day life. Some time later the local sales rep brought her along for a quick business lunch. She was not a dog by any strech but no where near what my minds eye had conjured up either. Well the visit didn't ruin the rapport we enjoyed but the alas the fantasy of what the sexy babe on the other end of the phone looked like was gone.

Having said all that, perhaps if the voice actors and the engineering staff are willing, seeing a tasteful photo would be appreciated.. <grin>

I second the vote for a no-show. I would hate thinking of someone's real face in place of my idealized mind's eye... leave the radio play non-visual.

In Germany we have dubbed movies and TV-Shows (i prefer the original) and those actors are also doing audio-drama, wich can be bought on cd and so on...

Problem is that you sometimes have the face of the actor in your mind, while hearing the audio-drama, even if it doesn´t fit to the person acting there.

For example: the actor Frank Glaubrecht is dubbing Pierce Brosnan. So in every episode of "Geisterjäger John Sinclair" ("Geisterjäger" means Ghost Hunter) some people see Brosnan instead of the fictional Character Sinclair acting in their mindmovie. :)

So, better no pics...

I've made my decision that we won't be showing any photos of the actors. I do agree with the comments here that seeing the physical photos of actors could distort the image in your mind that I've worked hard to create with my words. My sense is that if you dig hard enough on the internet, you could probably find photos of the actors if you really wanted to. I just think it might be ruining things a bit if we posted them here.

Passing thru and I agree, no photo. Audio is a movie scripted by the writer but imaged in each individual who listens to it. That XM book radio bumper is not a jest. Example: I did not know who the Anne Manx voice belonged to until the credits. Kind of wish I didn't know because I have a fan photo.
