Whitney (Whitt) Roberts graduated from Georgetown University Magna Cum Laude with dual degrees in Chemistry and Advanced Mathematics. He was hired directly out of college to work in the C.I.A. Cryptography Department.

He spent nine years monitoring encrypted communications between third world countries. After attracting the attention of Jason Sterling, Whitt was "actively recruited" to work within the Blackdoor Group.

Most of his work is comprised of clandestine fieldwork conducted on the behalf of Jason Sterling. Whitt has a developed a specialty of devising deadly poisons and serums that he frequently utilizes to advance the interests of the Blackdoor Group.
