Christof Laputka was born and raised in New York City and loved every second of it.  Despite having a career in the financial world, Christof managed to find time to write short stories, essays, and generally let his imagination wander to the world's most hidden places and commune with the wildest characters on Earth. 

Science fiction is his first love.  Christof grew up on classic sci-fi TV like Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who and Buck Rogers in the 24th Century.  After embracing his utter geekdom, he discovered podcasting and thought it was the coolest way to deliver his message of a dark future with heroic people.  

Christof has a ridiculous love of travel and has hop scotched around the world trying to find the coolest new places for his characters to hide, villains to plot, and adventures to be had.  Most of the places featured in The Leviathan Chronicles are based on real locations where the author spent time (with the exception of some of the secret bases).  Christof looks forward to spending the rest of his life exploring every goddamn inch of the globe and creating the coolest stories to blow your mind.  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Nobi Nakanishi is a graduate of the MFA writing program at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.  A recipient of the Rita and Burton Goldberg Fellowship, as well as a two-time recipient of the Tisch School of the Arts scholarship, Nobi studied with Arthur Kopit, Martin Epstein and David Ives.  

Nobi has been a participating playwright at the Lincoln Center Theatre Director's Lab, had readings at the Cherry Lane Theatre, and has been finalist at the Tribeca Film Festival screenplay competition.  His works have been produced in New York City, Los Angeles and Washington DC.  As director and filmmaker, Nobi has had the pleasure of being commissioned to make several video projects, and also has work in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art.

The Leviathan Chronicles is the first project where he has worked solely with sound.  Nobi Nakanishi can also be found at one of the many karaoke bars in NewYork, when not directing the actors in the one of the hermetically sealed underwater Leviathan recording studios.
