The Latest Update

Hello Everyone,

It’s been a while since I posted an update, and I just wanted to let everyone know that the wheels are still turning and we are working hard to finish the remaining 4 episodes of the Second Half of Season 2.  I’m sure many of you are wondering why we don’t just release what we have.  First, the episodes that are giving us the most trouble are Chapter 39 & 40, ironically the first two episodes of the series.  Second, it would impair our ability to sell the entire Season as a bundle which is an important source of revenue for the production.

But I was in the studio yesterday with Robin and Luke, and I can’t tell you how excited we are to share the rest of Season 2 with you all.  We’ve come such a long way as team, and while delays are longer than we would like, we all committed to producing Leviathan today and going forward into future seasons.

We are still a couple of months away from finishing the Second Half of Season 2.  But since everyone has been so amazingly supportive, we thought we would release a Sneak Peak of what the rest of Season 2 will sound like.  Your enthusiasm and encouragement really drives us, and from all us at Leviathan, thank you all for your amazing patience and support.

Enjoy,

Christof

Is it wrong that I am more excited about new episodes of LVC over anything else in my life. I was hooked from the first minute of the first episode and there are only 2 other audio dramas that deserve to be in the same category of greatness that The LVC are in. I have been searching for other audio dramas and have listened to over 100 by now and there just is not much out there that measures up. The LVC hits every mark of perfection in production value, plot and character development and once you experience TLVC everything else just falls flat except for Edict Zero and We’re Alive. I would not even attempt to try and say which is the best because they all have people dedicated to making the shows the best they can be. All of these shows have raised the bar from campy bad acting and plot holes to professional amazing works of story telling and now that they have proven it can be done we expect it to be done now. I can honestly say that I feel like a 5 yr old on xmas eve that can’t wait until the morning to open my gifts and the mystery of what those gifts maybe are just as exciting. It will be worth the wait. I am just glad that the show will go on. I thought for the longest time that it was not going to come back. I could probably recite line for line the complete series up to this point because I have been listening to the show over and over so that I can continue the journey and follow what is going on with all of the characters. I am so looking forward to the new shows and can’t wait to experience them.

Great to hear that season 2 if almost complete. Is there plans for a season 3 or any special episodes after this season is completed?

Woot! I can’t wait for the second half. Absolutely dying to hear what happens. Thank you so much for the update!

An epic podcast with a brilliant plot, great narration and an amazing cast! An audio drama (rather than a "mere" audio book) indeed. Thank you, Christof, and the entire LC team and cast for all the work you have done to provide your listeners with so much high-class entertainment!...
