My Geek Cred Interview!!

Steve Riekeberg has a terrifc website called Geek Cred that gives you the inside scoop on everything geek, from tech, to sci-fi, to games–you name it, he geeks it! In addition to interviews, the bi-weekly show features trivia, and occasionally commentary and reviews. The first episode was released on January 4th, 2007.

Please check out a terrific podcast called Playing For Keeps by Mur Lafferty. It's a free podcast novel about a group of "superheroes" with less than super powers. They remain stuck in a purgatory of being stronger than humans but regarded as not powerful enough to be one of the "true" superhero who protect the city from villains. I loved the whole class struggle and realistic portrayal of the scifi/fantasy genre. I listened to the whole thing in a week. No joke.

Echo Fiction

The Leviathan Chronicles has been invited to be a part of Echo Fiction, a new web destination for audio theater. This site is terrific! I have found some of the coolest new audio dramas being made both here and in Europe as well as some vintage radio classics from decades ago. The Founder, Xander Davis, has outdone himself and I'm so proud to have been asked to be a part of it.

I have been totally captivated by The Byron Chronicles by Eric Busby. It's a wonderful combination of several genres (Vampire, Werewolf, Greek Mythology, sci-tech, etc...) that Eric does a great job combining along with a truly awesome cast. The writing and acting are really stellar and David Ault as Byron does a great job as a disenchanted immortal reluctantly being brought into supernatural conflicts and challenging the forces of the Vatican.
