Hello Everyone!

As we get full steam into summer, I thought it was time to post an update and let everyone in on the latest Leviathan news.

The biggest news is that we will be moving Leviathan Chronicles production to LA for the month of September in order for the four of us to be focusing exclusively on finishing Season 2. One of the problems we’ve been dealing with is the difficulty of coordinating production with all of us in different cities and actors spread out all over the world. Nobi has fled for the West Coast and now resides in LA. Robin and Luke are still based in NYC. And I now live in San Francisco.

As some of you might recall, “coming together to live in house” was a formula that worked really well for our team in Austin, Texas. When Luke was living in Austin, we rented a house for Robin, Luke and I to live, eat, sleep, drink Leviathan together in a concentrated period of time. It allowed us to work and create more episodes, free from distraction, than at any point in our history. We had so much fun and it was awesome.

We ate entirely too much BBQ.

But now, we’re effectively treating the creation of our audio drama like a movie shoot by bringing everyone together for a short intense, highly productive retreat to facilitate getting the rest of Season 2 out to your ears as soon as possible. We can’t wait to release the rest of this story arc, and move on to the next exciting audio drama projects we have planned.

I’m currently trying to find a house in LA that can house us all comfortably, is suitable for our workstations and audio equipment, and hopefully located close to the ocean to give us inspiration about the secrets that lie beneath. We will be heading down just after the beginning of September and will be staying for most of the month. We’ll be posting photos and more updates on Facebook while the retreat happens. Maybe we can organize some sort of happy hour to meet with some of you and grab some beers!

In the meantime we are finishing scripts, and continuing post production work of The Code. Hopefully, these concrete plans will allow us to confidently predict the remaining episodes to be released in time for the Holidays this year, if not sooner.

In the near future, I look forward to announcing our new website that will provide the first visual depiction of Leviathan City, and allow for a vastly improved mobile experiences.

I want to thank you all for being such amazing supporters, and especially those of you that have reached out to me personally. I’m getting stronger every day, and it feels great to be back at the keyboards.

More news soon, but for now I hope you are all enjoying summer and I hope to speak to you all again real soon.

An epic podcast with a brilliant plot, great narration and an amazing cast! An audio drama (rather than a "mere" audio book) indeed. Thank you, Christof, and the entire LC team and cast for all the work you have done to provide your listeners with so much high-class entertainment!...
